Yosemite national park is a mix of breathtaking natural beauty with the stress of congestion of cars. So in May of 2014, I decided to bypass the cars and take it in by bike. It's the first place I used a "real" camera, a Canon 5D, Mark 3. I carried it and all my backpacking gear to the park from Fresno CA (about 150 miles). I took a photo class there and learned to take my first images of stars and long exposures of moving water. I knew nothing when I got there and had so much more to learn when I left. I returned in January 2015. This time in a rental car. I had a blast hiking around in a relatively empty park and slept soundly in my heated tent.
